Revitalization of an industrial site and its surroundings
Location:
Pécs, Zsolnay Vilmos u. 37, 7630, Hungary
Task:
The site is currently populated by the factory building of the Zsolnay Manufacturight beside the well-known Zsolnay Cultural Quarter, slightly off of the lively city centre of Pécs and .
Our project consists of 2 parts:
- an urban design proposal to develop the area
- a more specific architectural concept to revitalise the site of the factory building and possibly reuse the buildings
The architectural proposal was supposed to include a visitor centre and exhibition space, a hotel with conference centre and public hospitality options.
